FAQS

What should I expect at my first appointment?

At your first appointment you will be asked to fill a personal details and informed consent form, so it would be helpful if you can come a few minutes earlier than your appointment time. Your Physiotherapist will then take a detailed history of your condition. The physiotherapist will than make a physical examination, so if you can wear appropriate clothing it would very much be appreciated.

Following this the physiotherapist will explain their diagnosis, before, with your consent, treating your injury/condition. The physiotherapist may then give you some exercises to do at home and also offer advice on how alter certain activities and habits.

Do I need a GP referral?

Absolutely not. With one simple phone call to ourselves we can get you booked in and hopefully start to address your aches and pains. However, if you plan to use your private medical insurance, they MAY require you to touch base with your GP in order for you to get an authorisation code.
